SAM REMIX: Ikat Photobooth

Seattle Design Nerds set up a photobooth for the SAM REMIX that opened the museum’s ikat exhibit. I made the projections it ran on.

They came out of a StyleGAN2 model I trained on sample images of ikat textiles, so what landed on the people standing in the booth was cloth the model had invented rather than any of the cloth on the walls.

Documentation is thin. One frame is most of what survives.
